SHOW and TELL....

Today was Charleighs turn to take show and tell for preschool. I handed her the bag and asked her to go pick out something to take. She quickly grabbed the bag and disapeared..... a while later I asked if she was ready to go and went looking for her. She came out of her room with.......

apparently Charleigh just has a lot to show and tell about :)

Wildlife Photo Hunting....

We had such a fun hunt tonight. Grandpa Willie picked up the boys after school and I met them at the BLGC after work. We all got on the Black Knight AKA (grandpas golf cart) and went out on the course for a drive, to see if Braxton and Braunsn could snap a picture of some turkeys for a wildlife photo contest at the school.....Oh boy did we score.... not only did we get some pics of some Turkeys by Braunsn but Braxton also got a great pic of some partridges! It was a super fun little adventure. Good pictures boys... Good luck in the contest!

Family Pics 2011

It doesn't seem like I get family pictures done often enough. This year my dear friend Jen surprised me. Jen and Caesy watched my kids while I was gone to TOFW for the weekend. Jen has started her own photography business, so she bought the kids new clothes and took them out for a photo shoot. The pictures turned out amazing. She even put together a slide show with music and everything. It brought me to tears, the kindness, thoughtfulness not to mention time and money.... not only did she get them to smile and hold poses but some are even with their sister Caesy which we see way to little of. After I looked through the pictures Jen offered to come up and get some pictures of me with the kids. Brittney arranged for Jen to come do her family pictures so we all met at Brittney's in Beautiful Bridgerland and we got some more pics of us together. These were just a few of my favorite pics!!!! Thanks Jen for being such a great friend and for some amazing family pictures!!! XOXO

Time Out For Women

I can't say enough about this wonderful event. It over fills my cup every year. I am so thankful to not only go but to also be a volunteer for it with my wonderful friend Tara McMullin. I was also able to enjoy this years event with other wonderful people...Brookell, Calyn, Dawn, Kristen, and Sherilyn just to name a few. This years theme was "BECOME...... " Become a little closer to the women you are suppose to be and the women you want to be. Not in an over whelming way but in a "you can do it" "pick one thing to change" "one goal" etc....The speakers were amazing and the music was beautiful and touching. There was tons of great parts that touched my heart and soul... One song that had a profound effect on me was "in the meantime". I found out later that I already had this song on my church playlist. I have listened to it many times since. My conclusion from listening to the song is this.... be content.... it is good to have goals and dreams but "in the meantime" enjoy life and whatever I might be going through and experiencing. It is preparing and molding me into what I am suppose to be. Sometimes I forget to enjoy where I am now. I get carried away with my wants and wishes.... I love my life, I love being a mom, a daughter, a sister, and a friend, (and GF) :) and although I wish my life was a certain way (RIGHT NOW)... I know that God is watching over me and giving me the experiences to help me grow and BECOME ME what I am suppose to be, in his time.
